Driver Messaging

The FleetMatics Driver Messaging facility or "Comms" enables users to send and receive messages via our software interface to a Micronet unit mounted on the dashboard.

There are 4 different ways to send messages to the driver:

• Quick-Send
  The user can send up to 160 characters to a maximum of 15 drivers at a time.
• Option Message
  The user can send a message as before, but in this instance they can provide a list of replies or options for the driver to send back, kind of like a multiple choice question.
• Canned Message
  How many times a day do you request a driver’s current location? With our Canned Message System you can store commonly sent messages and send, edit or add to them as you see fit.
• Forms
  Manual forms can now be a thing of the past with FleetMatics Forms. Users can set up and manage forms on our system, allowing drivers to fill them out and submit them from their in-cab devices.
